State Reporting

Used where the state authority issues its own provider number

Overrides the national RTO code in the NAT files when present. Digits only.
Pre-selects the destination when building an extract

Submissions go to NCVER via AVS — Total VET Activity. NytroLMS produces the files; the upload itself is manual.

Applies to subsidised enrolments only. Fee-for-service records are never checked.

Records that fall short are listed with the file still produced. Reporting authority is set to National, so no state funding rules run regardless.

Where NCVER writes back about a submission
Your own account reference on the state training authority portal (e.g. Smart and Skilled eReporting on STS Online). Shown on extract download notes so the operator knows which account the files are for — never written into the files and not a login.
